The Comic Thread is one of Chicagoland's oldest sketch comedy troupes.
Consisting of a rotating ensemble of over fifty, TCT's core group of writers,
directors, producers, and crew have been closely collaborating since 1998.

The troupe's working goal is to weave together stories and characters
spun from the building blocks of individually-written short scripts.
The resulting hybrids are original sketch comedy plays or
"narrative sketch comedy" productions.
